The Monument of Honour originally resided on Monument Road in Topsail, before being moved to its current location in Long Pond, Conception Bay South. It was disassembled, refurbished, piece by piece, and reassembled to become the main feature that makes up the memorial site today. Even granite needs some TLC from time to time. Scheduled maintenance will ensure that it looks it’s best at all times.
